Answer: MissingReel.com is a community website for filmmakers and directors. A place where filmmakers and directors can critique your films and you can critique theirs. In addition to being a place to watch other directors films it is also an informal film competition. There is no restriction of film theme or genre but every 3 months the top 3 films will be awarded cash prize determined by the number of submissions and film views each month. 2) Question: How Do I Upload a Film?

Answer: Uploading a Film is Easy. All you have to do is go to Submit Video, login and enter your films information The only tricky part is that the film file must be in a .mov or .WMV format and the picture you use to represent your film must be in .JPG format. 3) Question: How Do I convert, encode or shrink my video file.

Answer: In order to upload your film your film must be in .mov, .mpeg or .WMV file format and under 250 MB. In order to convert your film files you must use record your film in these formats or your can convert your film file using software. There are many programs that convert video files to various formats including .mov, .mpeg and .WMV. One free program that I use and feel does a very good job at encoding files , although, is a little hard to use is SUPER video encoder.
